Letter for you, Mama.
The letter is all about a youthful boy named Michael. Now this Michael is one of those LGBTQ+ people. Some people thinks that he is weird or sick, but in all honesty, he isn't. He is a unique person, and should get the same amount of love from other people. The letter states, as I quote, " but San Francisco is full of men and women, both straight and gay, who don't consider sexuality in measuring the worth of another human being." So, San Francisco is really different than Orlando, because they accept people, no matter who they are.
Being gay is very hard for him. He doesn't know how to react with other judgmental humans around this world. I really hate those kind of people, it makes them less than a human being.
It hurts, not being accepted in the society. It sucks, I've been there. The experience I had, it was very uneasy. Every day, every night, I have these episodes, or should I call them, "Downfall episodes". This was before, now I'm healing, day by day, slowly.
Even if not everyone accepts you for who you are, you still have to keep your chins up! Show them that you don't really care, and live your life to the fullest. You still have the same rights with others, even if you're a little bit unique.
I wish someone said that to me also.
Now, you have to support people like Michael. It doesn't change the world, but it can change a person's perspective of the world. Nothing bad is going to happen if you support them, it just makes them 100% happier. Now, no one wants to be sad, alright? So stop judging people like that. They're just adding colors in this Monotone-colored world. :)
